Dr. Kea has been practicing in Tupelo for over 25 years. Originally from Carthage, MS he has called Tupelo home since 1993. Dr. Kea received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of MS in 1988 prior to earning his Doctor of Optometry (OD) at Southern College of Optometry in 1992. Dr. Kea was the director of diabetic and primary eye care services at the Choctaw Medical Center in Choctaw, MS for over 20 years. He has vast experience in diabetic eye care as well as glaucoma, cataracts and dry eye. He regularly assists in the post-operative management of LASIK surgeries in North Mississippi for The Laser Center in Memphis. Dr. Kea holds certifications in Advanced Surgical Procedures for Optometric Physicians and Laser Procedures for the Anterior Segment from Northeastern State College of Optometry. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Optometry and a member of the American Optometric Association and the Mississippi Optometric Association and currently a candidate for fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry.
